Designed as a fresh and creative hospitality destination, ibis Styles Kinshasa brings a distinctive new offering to one of the city’s most dynamic urban corridors. The hotel combines international design inspiration with the rhythm, energy, and evolving identity of Kinshasa, creating an experience tailored to today’s business and leisure traveller.

Inspired by elements of French cabaret culture and classic European cinema, the hotel’s interiors offer a playful yet refined atmosphere where Parisian flair meets the contemporary creative spirit of Kinshasa. The design concept reflects a modern hospitality experience shaped by global influences and local relevance.

Khalil Manji, Partner, said:“The opening of ibis Styles Kinshasa reflects CHIC’s continued confidence in the long-term potential of Kinshasa and in the broader hospitality opportunity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This hotel is more than a new opening; it is a statement of intent. We are committed to investing in quality hospitality assets that strengthen the city’s infrastructure, support its growing business and tourism ecosystem, and deliver internationally branded products with strong local relevance.”

Suhail Ashok Bhatia, Director Asset Management, added:“ibis Styles Kinshasa represents the kind of hospitality product CHIC believes in developing — design-led, operationally relevant, commercially accessible, and aligned with the character of its market. From concept to delivery, the focus has been on creating an asset that is not only internationally branded, but also responsive to the energy, ambition, and everyday realities of Kinshasa. We see this opening as an important addition to the city’s hospitality landscape and to CHIC’s growing platform in the DRC.”

The opening of ibis Styles Kinshasa reinforces CHIC’s commitment to developing internationally branded hospitality assets in key urban markets across the country. Through disciplined investment, strong execution, and a long-term ownership approach, CHIC continues to play an active role in supporting the modernization of the DRC’s hospitality sector.
